Leave the hellbird site. Given quiet rule changes like this, it’s very clear that even if the current owner gets pressured into adding the rule back, the current owner has no interest in enforcing those rules at all.

By a similar token, any potential buyers one may have been hoping to swoop in and rescue Twitter will now either be welcoming that change, or have to struggle to reinstate it. All in all, I don’t think Twitter is fated for a buyout or revival of any sort. It’s being turned into even more of a trash fire and if you don’t want to be branded with the reputation it’s curating for itself, don’t be in the stink when it finally blows out.
